War drama directed by David L. Cunningham and starring James Cosmo, Robert Carlyle and Kiefer Sutherland. Following Japan"'s surprise invasion of Singapore in 1941, a small British battalion headed by Lieutenant Colonel McLean (Cosmo), Major Campbell (Carlyle), Captain Gordon (Ciarán McMenamin) and Lieutenant Tom Ridgen (Sutherland) are captured and imprisoned in a camp deep in the Burmese jungle. Soon the camp is split between those who follow Campbell"'s efforts for physical freedom and those who follow Gordon"'s more transcendent practises.
