Young Neil & Crazy Horse: Year of the horse

Jim Jarmusch directs this rock documentary featuring Neil Young and his band Crazy Horse on tour in 1996. As well as concert performances, Jarmusch includes behind-the-scenes footage and interviews filmed between 1976 and 1986. Tracks include "'Like a Hurricane"', "'Tonight"'s the Night"' and "'Chief Crazy Horse"'. Longtime Neil Young producer, the late David Briggs, came up with the idea for the film, and the title refers to a comment he made to the singer shortly before his death: "'this is the year of the horse. All you have to do now is get closer and closer to the source. Keep getting purer and purer."
